The Tuscarora Nation of North Carolina Community Affairs seeks to improve the quality of life in Maxton and surrounding communities.

The Community Affairs program serves as a catalyst in the community through educational classes with areas of interest in traditional language, pottery construction, and READ literacy.  

Intervention administration in teenage pregnancy, alcohol, suicide prevention, high school drop out, diabetes, mental illness, and sexual transmitted diseases.
